Fire at vacant home in South Bend spreads to second home

More than two dozen firefighters were called to a house fire, overnight, in South Bend.

It happened around 12 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, in the 1300 block of West Fisher, which is near Sample and Chapin Streets.

The home was vacant, but flames spread to a second home, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

There were no injuries reported. There is no word, yet, about how the fire started.
