BBB warns about a fake “free year of Netflix” text message trying to gather your info

If you’re one of the people who received a text message telling you that you can get a free year of Netflix due to the pandemic keeping people at home…don’t click on it.

The company tells the Better Business Bureau that there is no free Netflix trial, and Marjorie Stephens of the BBB says a lot of people are falling for the fake text offer and entering personal information after they click on the link.
