The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office says the investigation continues into the death of a 6-month-old boy shortly after he arrived at Memorial Hospital.

Metro Homicide says there were no visible injuries on the child when he was brought to the hospital Wednesday evening. An autopsy performed the following day uncovered internal injuries.

Investigators are looking into how the injuries happened and the cause of the infant’s death. No other details have been released and anyone with information should contact Metro Homicide.
