A teacher in the Kankakee Valley School Corporation has been charged with child molestation following allegations of inappropriate contact between the teacher and a student.

The alleged crime occurred while Matthew Hostetler, 27, worked as a teacher in the at Kankakee Valley Middle School.

Our partners in news at ABC 57 report a school resource officer learned of an allegation of inappropriate communication and touching between a faculty member and a student.
