Portable skate park coming to Mishawaka this summer

The Mishawaka Parks and Recreation Foundation and the Mishawaka Parks Department are working together to bring a Portable Skate Park to Mishawaka this summer.  The new amenity is made possible through generous sponsors including the Indiana Center for Recovery.

The portable skate park in the ice rink at the Merrifield complex during the summer months, but will also go “on the road” to neighborhood parks.”

The skate park will feature, quarter pipe ramps, safety rails, launch ramps, manual pads, and wedge ramps designed for skateboards, bikes, and scooters.

The Indiana Center for Recovery is a patient-centered substance use disorder and mental health treatment facility. They have been offering treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders in Bloomington since 2016. Visit www.treatmentindiana.com for more information.
