Indiana’s winter utility disconnection moratorium ends next week

Indiana’s winter utility disconnection moratorium ends next week.

Indiana law has prohibited electric and natural gas utilities from shutting off service between December 1 and March 15 if the consumer is receiving help through the Energy Efficiency Program.

Those who need to make payment arrangements are encouraged to contact their service providers immediately, and not wait until they receive shut-off notices.
