A speeding driver on an interstate in northern Indiana is in jail after trying to switch seats with his passenger and crashing.

Johnell Higgins was traveling speeds north of 120 miles-per-hour and weaving all over I-94 near Chesterton.

State police started to try to pull him over — and troopers say they saw Higgins try to switch seats with his passenger while the car was moving. He ended up crashing.

Higgins refused a breathalyzer and ended up fighting with officers all the way to the hospital where hospital staff eventually drew his blood.

Higgins is in jail on initial charges of resisting arrest, drunk driving, and speeding.
