Whitmer notes “double standard” about allegations for politicians

(Tommie Lee)

Governor Gretchen Whitmer said Thursday that there’s a double standard for Democrats and Republicans on misconduct allegations.

Whitmer suggested the double standard in reference to sexual misconduct allegations against Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Whitmer said “We just had a president who lasted all four years of his term with numerous allegations against him, so far as rape.” She pointed out that no one on his own side of the aisle made any observations about whether or not he should stay in office.

The first-term Democrat said the allegations against Cuomo should be vetted and taken seriously, and she supports the investigation without prejudging it.

Big different, Trump was not in office at the time he did those things. Trump was wrong for doing it but he was not in office. And a lot of Republicans did say they didn’t want him in office because of that. Unlike Dumb Democrats we can say the truth and we don’t think all Republicans walk on water. But Dumb Democrats can’t see the log in there own eye!

Grinchen Whitless doesn’t understand that leaders including politicians are held to a higher standard because they have authority over others. And they spend OUR MONEY on worthless enterprises with reckless abandon.

To Rick – Al Franken wasn’t in office either but admitted to the offensive behavior, apologized, & resigned. This showed that he realized in hindsight his poor judgement & essentially took one for the team.
To Slacker06 of the great league of juvenile name calling behavior – Trump never rose to any higher standard of behavior or ethics & many would include leadership as well.
