CDC: Fully vaccinated people can travel safely

Americans that are fully vaccinated can now safely travel again, according to the CDC.

This is according to new guidance issued on Friday.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said travel within the U.S. is approved for fully vaccinated people without getting tested for the coronavirus or going into quarantine after they return home.

The CDC Director still urges caution and said she would advocate against travel overall due to the growing number of infections.

More than 100 million people in the US, nearly a third of the population, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
