St. Joseph County officials at odds over mask mandate extension

Officials in St. Joseph county are in disagreement over a mask mandate extension last week. Local leaders are pushing back against the decision to extend the county mandate to May 27.

WSBT reports that the health department, however, is playing defense.

Mayor Dave Wood of Mishawaka told the department and other officials that he was expecting a downgrade, not an extension.

Wood and South Bend Mayor James Mueller are both in favor of an advisory rather than the current order.

Enough is enough. We all need to get a back bone and tell the politicians what they can do with the mask!
I for one have not been using the MASK because I follow the science and what I read is this will do no good and may make it worst. STOP BEING LEADD BY BRAIN DEAD SO CALLED LEADERS
