Body found of man swept into Lake Michigan at Silver Beach

The body of the man who was knocked into the water at Silver Beach by a large wave has been found.

It was late last month when first responders and the U.S. Coast Guard were called to the south pier to rescue Dakota Yergeau, 27, and another man who were on the pier and ended up in the water.

The second man survived.

Yergeau was missing until his body was recovered near the pier on Wednesday, April 14,by the Michigan State Police Dive Team.
