The governor says Indiana’s new state budget will invest billions in state and federal dollars in the state’s future.
Governor Holcomb said the new $37 billion state budget, unveiled Tuesday, will be “transformational.” The budget combines state tax revenues and money from the latest federal COVID-19 relief package.
The state spending plan also put $500 million into Holcomb’s new regional economic recovery program, $250 million for expanded broadband, and nearly a billion dollars on future infrastructure projects.
