Goshen Hospital is approaching capacity after another spike in COVID-19 cases that has accompanied Elkhart County moving back into the Orange level on Indiana’s coronavirus map.

For several months there were only one or two patients, but now the hospital is up to roughly 20. A third of them are between the ages of 40 and 59, according to WSBT. Goshen Hospital can only treat 90 to 100 people at a time, and 80 of their beds are full.

A quarter of the hospital is currently dealing with COVID, according to Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dan Nafziger.
