A city councilman is offering a $500 reward to anybody with information that leads to the conviction of people who he says are stealing yard signs encouraging people to vote no in the Elkhart Schools referendum.
Councilman David Henke tells 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth they are missing several signs that oppose the proposed tax hike.
He didn’t directly blame Elkhart schools or the political action committee which supports the tax hike, but he infer they’ve minimized conversation to keep voters uninformed, The Elkhart Truth reported.
The leader of the side that supports the referendum says they’ve hosted town halls and have hosted weekly Facebook Live sessions for months to make sure voters are informed and can ask questions. They also say theft of political signs happens on both sides and it’s been a problem for a long time in Elkhart.

The tax-and-spend leftists running the schools would NEVER stoop to stealing or blocking open conversations.
I mean, you can talk freely about the stolen election on all the big tech platforms, right?
Oh, wait, nevermind. Stealing and censorship is EXACTLY what the left does.
Yep you are absolutely right!
“The leader of the side that supports the referendum says… theft of political signs happens on both sides and it’s been a problem for a long time in Elkhart.”
So the guy that isn’t even named in the article says “Nothing to see here, sign stealing happens both ways and is just something you have to accept.” No proof, no name given. I’m sure this is all on the up and up…
