If you missed out on Drug Take Back Day, this past Saturday, you can still get rid of your unwanted and unused prescription medications.

The South Bend Police Department reminds you they have a prescription pill drop box in the lobby at their headquarters on Sample Street.

The lobby is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. and weekends, 9 a.m.  until 5 p.m.

The department does not accept liquids, lotions or ointments in the drop box.
