Benton Harbor City Commissioners say they support the 22 million-dollar apartment complex development being planned by Whirlpool.

WSJM reports that the company wants to build the 80-unit complex at property they own on Riverview Drive.

Monday the Commission approved a resolution of support for the project, which Mayor Marcus Muhammad said would help the housing situation for young professionals in the community.
