Indiana has reached 2 million people vaccinated, but the rate of newly vaccinated Hoosiers has remained at a slower number.
At the same time, numbers from recent weeks have seen a slow climb in COVID-related hospitalizations, which have reached their highest number since February.
Two million people in Indiana have been fully vaccinated, about 37% of eligible people 16 and older.
Officials are concerned about an increased risk from more contagious variants.
