Michigan’s coronavirus case average has declined in the last two weeks.

On Monday the state reported its 14th straight day with a decrease in the seven-day case average.

With an average of under 3,400 new cases per day, Michigan is at its lowest average reported since March 24. Hospitals are reporting a drop in hospitalizations and ICU patients over the previous week.

State health officials are still urging the public to take advantage of vaccinations to keep the state moving in the right direction.
