The man who shot an employee at the Taco Bell restaurant on McKinley Avenue in Mishawaka has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

It was in early March 2020 when prosecutors say Nicholas William Gay of South Bend opened fire after arguing with the manager when he discovered his food order was incorrect.

Gay pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a firearm and aggravated battery.
