Indiana is headed to court over a new anti-abortion law.

It requires doctors to tell patients about a so-called “abortion reversal” procedure that some medical organizations call unethical, according to The Chicago Tribune.

There has not been a widely accepted study confirming the safety or effectiveness of the procedure that uses medication to reverse an abortion in-progress.

Hoosier doctors are now legally bound to tell patients about the procedure, and a number of health care providers are suing to stop what they call a “reckless law” from taking effect.
