American Electric Power has made a massive donation to advance education efforts at LOGAN Community Resources.

The AEP Foundation has donated $100,000 to help provide new educational experiences to young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. LOGAN officials say it was necessary that they expand their program to fill a gap in the education system, but they lacked the resources to do so.

The AEP Foundation donation, on behalf of Indiana Michigan Power, will provide 40 adults with autism the skills necessary to live independently and reach their potential.
