Michigan legislature’s bill banning vaccine passports inches forward

The Michigan House passed a bill that would ban government-required COVID-19 vaccine passports.

Republicans and some Democratic members voted to move the bill back to the Senate. It would ban vaccine passports or any other system where an individual’s civil rights are diminished by their COVID vaccination status.

If approved by the State Senate it will then go to Governor Whitmer. Many of the bill’s supporters fear the governor will eventually consider vaccine mandates.

Irrelevant. Zero possibility of over-riding a veto.

What is the point of one voice, one vote, when no matter how we the people want it, only one person gets to have a final say and it’s her way or the highway.
