An Arizona man was killed in a crash Friday involving multiple semi-trucks.

It happened on the Toll Road when Michael Lohman, 53, of Glendale, Arizona slammed into westbound traffic that was stopped and backed up in a construction zone west of Howe.

Police say Lohman was on his phone at the time of the crash and suffered a severe head injury and lost both of his legs when he was pinned in the cab.

His 12 year-old son was a passenger and suffered minor injuries, as did the driver of one of the other two semis involved.
