Alleged drug trafficker arrested in Benton Township

An alleged drug trafficker from South Bend was arrested in Benton Township last week.

Around 4 pm on Wednesday, the Southwest Enforcement Team made a traffic stop at the Pilot Travel Center in Benton Township.

There a 29-year-old-man was arrested for possession with intent to deliver and possession of more than 50 grams of cocaine.

According to ABC-57 News, investigators found that the man was distributing cocaine through Michigan and Indiana. The suspect is currently being held at the Berrien County Jail.
