Medical emergency causes crash

Shortly after 9:00 am on Wednesday, a Cadillac was traveling eastbound on County Road 3 when the driver suffered a medical emergency.

The driver drove off the road, driving through 3 yards before striking an attached garage to a home.

When authorities arrived, the driver was complaining of chest pain and was then transported to Elkhart General by ambulance.

No citations were issued.
