New Buffalo to see marina improvements

The city of New Buffalo will be receiving grant money from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for recreational water projects.

According to the DNR, around 23 grants, totaling more than $4 million have been awarded throughout the state.

New Buffalo received two.

One of the grants will upgrade the electric system at its marina. While the other grant is for marina broadside dockage and erosion controls.
