Repair plan set for US 30 sinkhole

On Tuesday, INDOT begins the process of repairing the sinkhole on U.S. 30.

U.S. 30 will be closing lanes this month east of S.R. 331 for a culvert repair.

A sinkhole has created headaches for motorists in Marshall County west of Etna Green for several days, including the busy holiday weekend. Drivers should still seek alternate routes or follow the official detour of State Roads 19, 10 and 331.

The repair will involve all lanes of the highway and traffic plans are still being finalized by INDOT.
