Jury in Cass County convicts man of criminal sexual conduct

A jury in Cass County has convicted a man of criminal sexual conduct after an emotional testimony from the teenage victim herself

The jury heard testimony from the victim, who is now 18, but was 14 when the crimes occurred.

Cass County Prosecutor, Victor Fitz, called the victim, “As authentic as they get,” after she testified.

Corey Roddy was convicted of third degree criminal sexual conduct.

Roddy is expected to receive a 25-year prison sentence during his sentencing in mid-August.
