Suspect in Michigan City shootings charged with murder, attempted murder

The suspect in two shootings in Michigan City, last week, has been identified.

Joshua Cornelison, 37, is charged with murder and attempted murder for two separate shootings that happened back on July 13.

One of the shootings happened in the 1100 block of Buffalo Street and claimed the life of Aaron Luncsford, 39.

The other shooting happened around 15 minutes later in the 100 block of West Homer Street where a 43-year-old man was shot in the neck, but survived.

Cornelison was arrested about an hour after the shootings.
