A motorcycle crash in Steuben County cost a Fremont man part of his leg.

Cody Ormsbee, 28, was turning onto a county road Tuesday afternoon when he was hit by a pickup truck.

Ormsbee was thrown from the motorcycle and landed on the road.

The motorcycle was thrown into the westbound lane of SR 120, where it hit a car.

Ormsbee was taken to a hospital and had to have his leg amputated below the knee.

The drivers of the pickup truck and car were not hurt.
