An Elkhart man charged with a murder could face an additional two decades in prison.

22-year-old Jordan Wolf is accused of killing 27-year-old Forrest Howard.

Police say in June, Wolf shot Howard after a fight near the 500 block of South 5th Street.

Elkhart County Prosecutor, Vicki Becker, intends to file a firearm enhancement to his murder charge.

Which could add 5 to 20 years to his sentence.

The state must prove the enhancing circumstances.

Wolf now awaits a December 6th jury trail.
