The City of South Bend is opening a third round of Love Your Block “Acts of Kindness” grants.

The grants of up to $250 are available to residents or non-profit organizations to develop new programs, help neighbors, and generally do good in the community.

In previous rounds, the city’s Engagement and Economic Empowerment team awarded money for youth engagement activities, a neighborhood food pantry and repairs for a lending library.
