Trial underway for Fulton County teenager accused of plotting school shooting

A trial is underway, this week, for a Fulton County teenager accused of planning a school shooting.

John Schultz IV faces charges for conspiracy to commit murder and intimidation for his possible role in the plot against students at Rochester High School.

Prosecutors brought forth a lot of evidence against Schultz between social media posts, computers, and cell phones — which had search histories of “how someone who is underage could get a gun from a pawn shop”, “how to make a bomb”, etc.

Defense attorneys are trying to cast doubt since no guns or bombs were every discovered.

Final statements are expected to be delivered on Wednesday, July 28.
