Charges have been filed against a man who allegedly dragged a woman by her hair and shooting at her car.

A fight between two women broke out at a block party in the 300 block of South Bendix back in early July.

The victim told responding officers that the other woman hit her in the face with a glass bottle. During the altercation, 39-year-old Lance Woods tried to step in to break it up.

ABC-57 News reports the victim stated that Woods grabbed her by the throat and threw her to the ground before later dragging her down the street by her hair.

The victim attempted to leave but the Woods pulled a gun, blocking her and then firing one round in front of her vehicle.

According to court documents, Woods faces charges of criminal recklessness, and carrying a handgun without a license.
