Notre Dame home opener will be exclusive to Peacock subscribers

(95.3 MNC)

Notre Dame Football’s opening home game this season will not be on your local NBC station.

But don’t blame WNDU, because this sort of thing is completely out of their hands on the affiliate level.

Notre Dame and the NBC Network announced today that that the season opener against Toledo will be exclusively streamed on Peacock. Fans saw the Spring Game there as a free stream, but in order to see the season opener on September 11, you will need a paid subscription to Peacock.

It’s the only game of the seven at Notre Dame Stadium that will not be on regular NBC affiliates.

Pay to watch ND football on TV?? Who would do that? August 5, 2021 at 7:07 am

Now I am officially done with Notre Dame football. It is ridiculous that it is never enough money for them. ND needs to realize they are not gaining new fans as they have not been anything special since the Lou Holtz era. Shameful is the best way to sum it up!
