A national logistics company plans to make a $200 million investment northeast of Elkhart.
The name of the company has not been announced, but plans include a multi-level space in Elkhart East Industrial Park with a 900,000-square-foot main floor and 1,000 workers.
The Elkhart Truth reports the County Redevelopment Commission voted in favor of granting an 80 percent repayment.
The company would cover public improvements and be reimbursed with tax increment finance district funds over time.
