Suspect in convenience store shooting death charged with open murder, still at-large

UPDATE: A multiple count warrant has been authorized on Daniel K. Autrey for the murder of Delray Lloyd that occurred on Sunday, Aug. 8.

Daniel Autrey is charged with the Open Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Ammunition by a Felon, and Felony Firearm.

Daniel Autrey still remains at large. Please contact Detective Kelly Anderson of the Major Case Unit at (269) 332-4502 for any information leading to the location and apprehension of Daniel Autrey

ORIGINAL STORY: A man was shot and killed inside a convenience store in Berrien County.

Police were called just after 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8 to the area of Pipestone and Empire in Benton Harbor where they found the victim at the Sunny Spot Marathon gas station.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is assisting the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety with the investigation and have named a person of interest.

They are attempting to locate Daniels K. Autrey, 24.
