Thousands of students head back to classrooms on Wednesday

On Wednesday, Aug. 11, thousands of school age children will go back to school as dozens of districts are opening the doors to their classrooms.

The following schools are back in session: Bremen, Concord, Fairfield, John Glenn, LaPorte, Middlebury, Mishawaka, New Prairie, Plymouth, Prairie Heights, South Bend, Triton, Union North and Westview.

On Thursday, Aug. 12, schools will reopen for Baugo, Elkhart, WaNee and Wawasee students.
