An Elkhart man who was out on $125,000 bond in a felony drug-dealing case is accused of drunkenly crashing into a trash collection area at the Taco Bell in Dunlap.

John Silva, 47, is charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and two counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Police say he backed into the concrete enclosure around a garbage bin while going through the drive-thru.

The Elkhart Truth reports he was booked in the Elkhart County Jail on $10,000 bond.
