Pete and Chasten Buttigieg look to grow their family soon

It’s you, and me, and baby makes three for Pete and Chasten Buttigieg.

From Mayor of South Bend to Presidential Candidate to U.S. Secretary of Transportation, there have been a number of changes in the lives of Pete Buttigieg and his husband Chasten.

Now they say they are about to make another leap forward as they prepare to grow their family and adopt a child. In a piece last month in The Washington Post it was revealed that the couple had been trying to adopt for a year, and had come close at least once before the mother changed her mind.

South Bend’s former Mayor Pete says the process isn’t finished yet, and that they’re thankful for the love, support, and respect for their privacy.

That poor kid won’t have a chance. It would be a token adoption to further a political career.

Adopting a child and becoming parents are two different things. They’re not bright enough to know this.
