A Winona Lake man is in critical condition after crashing his motorcycle.

The collision happened around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24, on County Road 250 South, east of State Road 25, in Kosciusko County.

Officers arrived to find the motorcycle down, having slid across the road.

THe victim was ejected and suffered head injuries.

He was airlifted from the scene in critical condition.

Officials say the exact circumstances of the collision are unclear.
