Man, 49, seriously hurt after being struck by truck in St. Joseph

A 49-year-old man from St. Joseph was injured when he was crossing the street and was hit by a pick-up truck.

The collision happened just before 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, on Broad Street at Main Street in St. Joseph when a Ford F-150 driven by a 19-year-old Indiana resident was turning from Main onto Broad when and struck the man in the crosswalk.

The pedestrian was taken Spectrum Health Lakeland in serious condition.
