The man who was shot to death in Elkhart on Wednesday, Aug. 25, has been identified.

Police found the victim, Brandon Michael Lowe, 38, dead in the 400 block of North Michigan Street.

Shortly after, the detained the suspect. Dustin Joseph McKee, 30, has been charged with murder and firearm possession by a felon.

McKee is due in court on Sep. 9.

So far, there’s no information about the circumstances that led to the shooting.
