Tiny little berries are ready to bring a lot of joy to the area this weekend.
The 55th Annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival began Thursday night and runs through Monday.
The weather calls for comfortable temperatures and a chance for a few rain showers on Saturday, but otherwise conditions are perfect for plenty of great food and family activities.
Since 1967, the festival has been the largest 4-day event celebrated in Indiana. Event organizers say they are taking every precaution to ensure a safe environment for their guests and are working with the County Health Department.
About half-a-million people are expected to attend. The famous blueberry donuts go on sale Saturday, so make sure you bring your appetite.
