There’s another chance to shred your unwanted documents coming soon.

The City of Elkhart, Integra Certified Document Destruction and the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce announced will host a shredding event on Monday.

It’s “clean your files day” and the shred event will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. near Civic Plaza in downtown Elkhart.

Residents can shred up to five boxes, no larger than a typical file box, worth of documents for free.

Anything more than that will cost $3 per box.
