For the second consecutive year the annual RV Dealer Open House has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.

Officials with Forest River and Thor made the joint announcement on Wednesday. The annual event was scheduled for the week of September 27.

Both companies say their top priority is the health and safety of their industry partners, team members, and the Elkhart community as a whole.

The release cites an increase in local and national COVID cases, and the worry that the necessary steps for safety would distract from the experience for the thousands of visitors who come to the show each year from across North America.
