The City of Elkhart and the Parks Department is warning vendors of a scam.

They say there’s an individual taking advantage of food truck and tailgating party vendors. The scammer is pretending to be the coordinator of this event and is taking payments via PayPal.

The city says Sherry Krask is the city’s contact for event vendors.

They say anybody who has been been in contact with someone other than Krask, should contact the Elkhart Police Department.
