A man is recovering after he was shot in the leg on South Bends Northwest side.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, in the 1500 block of Fassnacht Avenue.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There was no word about what led to the shooting, or any suspects or arrest.
