An Elkhart man faces multiple child molesting charges after a girl named him as the father of her baby.
The alleged victim gave birth in 2019 when she was under the age of 16.
At the time she said she didn’t know who the father was. Now she’s come forward with the name and, earlier this week, 52-year-old Cornelius Owens Jr. was arrested, Monday, while at his job.
The Elkhart Truth reports DNA samples were taken from the girl, her child and Owen. The results indicated Owens was indeed the father.
