Undercover investigation leads to arrest of meth dealer

A man is charged with drug dealing after he was arrested while picking up a suspicious package at the post office.

After an undercover investigation that started in March of last year, 46-year-old Nathaniel Harner was arrested last week.

According to court documents, the Elkhart County Intelligence and Covert Enforcement Unity received a tip, last year, that Harner was supplying meth in Elkhart County.

They oversaw at least two controlled purchases and learned he had a shipment due in the mail.

The Elkhart Truth reports a drug dog sniffed out the package when it arrived at the post office. Undercover officers then closed in when Harner went there to pick it up.
